Backend / Api Developer (Tampa)

Insight Global's transportation and logistics client is looking for a Backend / API Developer. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable APIs that power their applications and services. Youll work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure seamless integration and high performance across platforms.

Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.

3-5+ years of experience in backend development

Proficiency in Java as backend languages

Strong experience with API frameworks and tools (e. g., Express, FastAPI, Spring Boot).

Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.

Familiarity with version control systems like Git
