About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have :

Must have 1 year of Electrophysiology experience or 1 year of Cath Lab experience with Electrophysiology Ablation experience.

Must have ablation experience.

Scrub experience preferred.

Description :

Candidates will undergo a profile review and will be contacted for an interview.

Two supervisory references are required at submission.

One reference must be within the past 12 months and one within the past 3 years of employment.

Completion of the Dysrhythmia Exam (Basic) is required prior to acceptance.

This exam must be submitted within 24-48 hours, and it is a pass or fail test.

Candidates have two attempts to pass.

A screenshot showing the number of attempts is required.

The position involves primarily circulating, charting, and having stimulation experience is a plus.

There are 3 Electrophysiology labs with an average of 10-15 cases per day, focusing on quick turnaround times.

Common diagnoses and types of patients include Ablations (A.Fib, SVT, VT, and more), Lead Extractions, and Watchman procedures.

Job duties include circulating and charting.

The charting system used is Cerner.

Each lab is assigned one Electrophysiology physician daily.

The team consists of 2 Techs and 1 RN per room, or 2 RNs in one room, depending on the case type.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 0630 to 1900.

There will be call requirements during the week for 2 times, from 1900 to 2300.

No weekend call is required.

The position requires someone experienced with interventional Electrophysiology cases and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

There is a cancellation policy in place for shifts during the assignment.

There are no floating requirements.

Scrubs will be provided for the role.

Unit / department-specific orientation lasts for one week with a preceptor.
