National Sales Manager

Symbiotic Services is seeking an experienced and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead and optimize sales efforts nationwide. This role reports to the Executive Vice President of Sales and is pivotal in developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth, enhance market share, and strengthen the company's presence in high-end and mainstream furniture sectors. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and proven success in managing a national sales team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Set clear sales goals and objectives for each Brand Ambassador by territory, aligning with overall company objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including volume and market share penetration.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and promotional activities.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, trade showrooms, and retail partners nationwide.
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the point of sales program through brand ambassadors, including developing sales and training programs.

Leadership & Team Management :

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Brand Ambassadors nationwide.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent performance and professional development.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set individual targets, and provide training opportunities.
  • Foster a high-performance culture with clear accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, marketing, and business development.
  • Ability to develop and implement sales training programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics, CRM systems, and sales forecasting.
  • Ability to travel frequently for customer meetings and trade shows.
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing management within the furniture or consumer goods industry.
  • 5+ years of people management experience leading a national sales team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
