For over 60 years, the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) team has supported the Navy's mission to provide affordable and credible strategic defense. The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver new technologies while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence. This role is for a Propulsion / Ordnance / Controls Engineer on the post-boost control team.

Responsibilities

• As a component test engineer on the post-boost control team, you will be responsible for testing various components at multiple levels, including cold gas propulsion testing, hot gas propulsion testing and sub-scale testing of components.
• Ensure our tests adhere to Common Integrated Processes as documented in Command Media, and drive process improvement into the design and test culture.
• Provide solution-based technical mentoring to improve program performance and drive error-free testing using proven tools, processes and predictive measures.
• Travel may be required.

Pay Range : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding certain areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. Salary may vary by location and other factors.
