Entry Level Accountant

The shared services organization has a need for a strong Accountant to join the Accounts Payable team.

Job Duties / Responsibilities :

• Use of PeopleSoft technology to perform daily Accounts Payable tasks. Including maintaining vendor master files
• Support and conduct control testing in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley
• Develop improved financial processes, reports, and information
• Understanding of IRS regulations in order to support the creation of 1099s and 1042s
• Identify opportunities to re-engineer systems and processes to improve Accounts Payable and the end user experience
• Special projects to enhance and or improve technology

Minimum education requirements for this position :

BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
