Job Title : Press Operator

Job Order# DC393488618

Location : Lakeland, FL

Pay : $24.00 / hour

Hours : 6pm-6am, days rotate

Duration : Temporary to Possible Hire

JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • Review and interpret information on job-sheets and ensure proper set up of the press
  • Select proper Anilox rolls, printing stock and print sleeves
  • Prepare ink vats in proper order to match print deck location and ink up press
  • Record and track all footage printed, pounds of ink used and quality samples
  • Mount printing plates, add ink, adjust PH and viscosity of ink to maintain conformity and quality
  • Adjust plates and impression to ensure quality and proper registration

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 5+ years of related mechanical, manufacturing and / or printing experience
  • Must be able to stand / walk up to 12 hours on shift
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally during the shift
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
