Lead Client Executive (Employee Benefits)
This position is considered a key leadership position which requires overall responsibility for client relations and team function.
Essential duties and responsibilities include :
- Participate as a team leader by providing support to all levels in various capacities.
- Responsible for assisting in new business opportunities and developing retention strategies for existing clients by working collaboratively with assigned producer(s).
- Responsible for engineering and managing efficient workflow within the team.
- Plan and execute the renewal process for assigned accounts as well as those assigned to your team.
- Provide exceptional internal and external client services.
- Behavior consistently reflects the best interest of the client, employees, and Bolton.
- Directly responsible for retention of all accounts assigned to the team.
- Responsible for clarity of goals, delegation of duties and workflow within the team.
- Possess working knowledge of agency management system and ensure proper utilization.
- Participate in the review process and mentorship of each team member.
- Work effectively with BBS personnel in the development of a service management program for clients.
- Adhere to policies and procedures set forth for the Department and IMA / Bolton.
- Function as primary contact for team's clients as appropriate.
- Work strategically with sales staff to optimize relationships and protect client's business.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our partners, carriers and vendors.
- Attend company and department meetings, position-related seminars / classes, client meetings, carrier functions, and other events as required.
- Pursue a program for personal and professional development, including attending educational classes in your specific field and those offered by Bolton in communication, leadership, corporate language and other classes as recommended by leaders.
- Active participation in Employee Benefits initiatives, as needed.
Supervisory responsibilities include time and attendance, performance management, effective communication, employee relations and disciplinary action. Knowledge of current FLSA standards for wage and hour, as well as compliance with state and federal employment laws, is critical.
Job specifications include :

This job operates in a fast paced, multi-tasking, professional environment, requiring ongoing learning and complex problem solving.Ability to use computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods as well as the use of office equipment such as copy machine, printer, filing cabinets, and telephones.Occasionally must be able to move and lift office equipment and materials up to 10 pounds.Close vision requirements due to frequent computer use.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. telephones, computers, printers, etc.).This position may require local travel primarily during the business day, although, some out-of-the area and overnight travel may be expected.Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act. Salary range : $125,000$150,000 USD
