Estate Planning Paralegal
| Full-Time | On-Site / Hybrid
We’re seeking an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal to join our Client's team and support attorneys in all aspects of trust and estate administration. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys client contact, organization, and problem-solving within the estate planning field.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare or assist with Gift, Estate, and Fiduciary Income Tax Returns
- Maintain and reconcile financial and G / L accounts for trusts
- Perform trust accounting and audit accounts; process payables and deposits
- Obtain and reconcile 1099 and K-1 statements
- Manage revocable and irrevocable trust funding and administration (pre- and post-death)
- Draft probate pleadings and assist in probate administration
- Maintain regular, professional contact with clients and financial advisors
- Manage client files, records, and databases with accuracy and confidentiality
- Meet annual billable requirement of 1,500 hours
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in Trusts & Estates (preferred)Associate degree required ; Bachelor’s degree or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate preferredStrong communication, organizational, and analytical skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with tax / trust accounting software (GEMS, BNA, ProSystems, EVP)Experience managing client cases and maintaining detailed documentationDemonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating with a teamCorporate or real estate experience is a plus
