Overview

Quix Recruitment is partnering with a cutting-edge fintech firm to hire an Applied Machine Learning Engineer to develop and deploy machine learning models that optimize trading strategies and risk management solutions.

This role bridges research and engineering, requiring expertise in ML implementation, algorithm optimization, and production-ready system deployment. The successful candidate will work closely with quantitative researchers and team members to translate models into robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models for financial datasets.
• Optimize and maintain feature engineering pipelines and model inference systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate ML solutions into production environments.
• Experiment with methods including reinforcement learning, deep learning, and time-series analysis.
• Document models and provide clear reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support team growth by mentoring junior members and sharing best practices.
