Commercial Lines Producer - WDC / Mid-Atlantic Region
This very passionate, energetic and driven Commercial Producer will use their commercial insurance sales skills to drive new commercial insurance premiums / revenues in the WDC and surrounding Mid-Atlantic markets. This client is a regional insurance brokerage firm ranked in the top 25 firms in the WDC and surrounding Mid-Atlantic region.
Background Required : ('must haves')
- A focus in Commercial Lines; can be a generalist.
- Demonstrated success with medium size commercial clients that have at least $25k in annual premiums. Preferred profile would be $25 - 500k + in annual premiums
- Needs to be a "hunter" and willing and able to generate new revenues (commissions to the insurance agency) of at least $100,000 per year
- A direct sales background
- A closer - one who can both prospect and close
- Must be able to develop long term relationships with the local business community, property, industry associations, centers of influence, local networking groups, and related organizations
- Must be a consultative seller and NOT a transactional seller
- Excellent relationship-builder and team player
- Experience working with contact databases and related data mining
- Working knowledge of the commercial insurance sector
