HDR is looking for a Senior Construction Consultant to join our national Trenchless Services team. This role will report to the Trenchless Services Engineering Lead, with primary responsibilities supporting the execution of design and field services associated with trenchless services : engineering, design, and construction applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide Construction Oversight for Trenchless installations.
• Conduct constructability reviews of Trenchless engineering efforts.
• Conduct daily reviews of deliverables for Trenchless construction activities.
• Conduct site visits during preliminary engineering efforts.
• Conduct Route Assessments for Trenchless aspects of Pipeline Siting & Routing efforts.
• Coordinate Trenchless Construction Oversight activities, including staffing, and developing / reviewing CM scopes.
• Support Business Development for Trenchless services through client interface.
• Coordinate subcontractor activity, scheduling, and quality control.
• Prepare the Project Management Plan and Construction Management Plan.
• Develop procedures for construction contract administration and implement procedures with the project team.
• Perform construction management activities, including procurement, scheduling, subcontract scopes, review of subcontract terms, value engineering, and project performance presentations.
• Administer and manage construction activities and monitor design progress relative to construction requirements.
• Perform value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate local bidding for field quotes and assist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontract packages.
• Coordinate document management, shop drawings, pay applications, and submittals.
• Prepare, issue, and negotiate Change Orders.
• Review and analyze construction schedules and control project budget and schedule.
• Coordinate and manage project quality assurance, inspection services, and health and safety program compliance.
• Prepare and update project schedules, pay requests, and progress reports.
• Take responsibility for project setup and temporary facilities.
• Perform other duties as needed.

The compensation range for this position is $135,000 - $165,000, depending on experience and location.

Primary Location : United States-Louisiana-Lafayette

Other Locations include multiple U.S. sites across various states.
