Carrie Joos Farmers Insurance Agency is hiring a Customer Service Representative.

Our insurance agency is in Bloomington Illinois, and we are up to big things! We provide Auto, Home, Business and Life insurance to help protect our clients and their assets. Come be a part of our winning and competitive culture!

Qualifications for the Customer Service Representative :

  • Must possess the ability multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Have a Property & Casualty Insurance license. (or obtain one prior to starting)
  • Be trustworthy, dependable, and ethical.
  • Must be coachable.
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Be motivated and determined.
  • Ability to adapt / respond to different types of characters.

Responsibilities

As a Service Representative you will :

  • Work closely with our Producers to provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to our clients
  • As a CSR, your responsibilities will include preparing and processing quotes, proposals, applications, endorsements and certificates of insurance
  • You will review, and update policies
  • Handle customer phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and general correspondence
  • Maintain client activity tracking, files, billing, process payments and monitor accounts receivable

    • Requirements

  • Over 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Dynamic, kind, and caring demeanor
  • Excellent written and oral / presentation skills
  • Desire to work towards measurable quotas and bonuses.
  • Currently possess a property & casualty insurance license or be able to obtain (prior to starting)
  • Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent Organizational Skills a MUST
