Job Description

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.

Potential Contract to Hire role

$28-$32 / hr DOE

  • Indirect Parts sourcing activity (strategy, analysis, negotiation; target and schedule achievement)
  • Indirect Parts cost reduction activity (strategy, analysis, negotiation; target and schedule achievement)
  • Daily activity and support for supplier quality, delivery, development, AP / AR, service parts
  • Works closely with suppliers and departments to resolve issues critical to the supply chain.
  • Receives and lightly analyzes data (cost evaluations, benchmarking, commercial issues, risk mitigation)
  • Ability to manage MRO accounts and develop good relationships with suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent equivalent experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous MRO purchasing experience
