Prime Air is seeking an experienced Procurement Agent who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. You will have a record of being able to perform large scale processes and deliver results. You should have the ability to work under pressure, overcome obstacles and perform in changing environments.

Our Procurement Agent is responsible for managing complex procurement activities, strategic sourcing, and vendor relationships to ensure optimal value for the organization. This role requires advanced negotiation skills and deep understanding of supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end procurement processes including PO placement, sourcing, bidding, negotiation, and contract management
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize cost savings and improve operational efficiency
• Manage supplier relationships and performance metrics
• Analyze market conditions and pricing trends to identify cost reduction opportunities
• Lead complex contract negotiations and ensure compliance with company policies
• Monitor and report on key procurement metrics and KPIs
• Mentor junior procurement team members

Key job responsibilities include generating purchasing requisitions according to forecasted needs, tracking and communicating delivery schedules with internal partners, monitoring and mitigating overall risk for new launches, continuously working with the team to improve current processes, collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance, proactively communicating risks and issues to key stakeholders and recommending mitigations, documenting and maintaining records of procurement, order fulfillment, and transportation when applicable, and day-to-day order management, including transactional issue resolution and critical information gathering regarding schedules, invoices, tracking info, etc.

This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon's ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.
