Summary
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Regional Chief Growth Officer (RCGO) with deep expertise in the software sales industry and a proven track record of selling software technology to large utilities across the United States. Based on the West Coast, this executive leader will drive SEW’s go-to-market strategy, revenue growth, and long-term business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute SEW’s growth strategy to expand market share in the energy, water, and gas utility sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to accelerate revenue growth.
- Drive innovation in sales approaches, channels, and market expansion strategies.
Sales & Business Development
Lead enterprise-level software sales initiatives, with a focus on building strong relationships with large U.S. utilities.Oversee the full sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and closing multimillion-dollar deals.Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with customer needs and market demands.Market Expansion
Strengthen SEW’s presence across the West Coast and nationally, ensuring alignment with regional market dynamics.Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technology shifts impacting utilities.Expand SEW’s portfolio adoption across CX, WX, eMobility and Digital Payment platforms.Team & Organizational Leadership
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing growth organization.Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across teams.Partner with executive leadership to ensure alignment between growth strategy and company vision.Qualifications
Proven track record in executive-level sales leadership, specifically in selling enterprise software technology to large utilities across the U.S.15+ years of experience in software sales, business development, and go-to-market leadership roles.Deep understanding of the energy, water, and gas utility industry and its digital transformation challenges.Strong network of decision-makers within U.S. utilities, particularly on the West Coast.Demonstrated success in scaling revenue, building sales teams, and closing large enterprise deals.Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and innovative environment.Willingness to travel up to 50% of time.Why Join SEW?
