Job Description
We are conducting a confidential search for an Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team in the defense industry. In this role, you will support the fabrication, machining, and assembly of parts for both subassemblies and final assemblies. You’ll be responsible for preparing, testing, and inspecting components.
Key Responsibilities :
Retrieve and organize materials, components, and tools based on work orders or blueprints.
Assemble parts and components accurately and efficiently following instructions and diagrams.
Perform inspections and live power tests to verify quality, accuracy, and safety of assembled products.
Operate machines and hand tools to prepare and assemble components.
Maintain accurate inspection reports and documentation.
Adhere to all safety policies, reporting hazards immediately.
Support process improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED preferred.
At least 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience strongly preferred.
VantageClear Certification (or equivalent) required.
Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and safety procedures.
Skilled in using hand tools, machines, and measuring equipment.
Strong understanding of precision measurement and dimensional specifications.
Solid math skills (fractions, proportions, decimals).
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Compensation & Benefits :
Pay range : $22.00 – $30.00 per hour , based on experience.
