POSITION SUMMARY
The Treatment Coordinator at A+ Family Dentistry is a key member of the team, working closely with our Doctors, Hygienists, Office Manager and other team members to ensure a comfortable and dynamic patient experience. This role is responsible for the closing or assisting in the closing of dental treatment plans generated by the doctor. The Treatment Coordinator takes responsibility for the entire patient base and works toward having no patients with incomplete treatment plans.

Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Create a positive, non-judgmental, and memorable experience for each patient
- Able to maintain good case acceptance to keep the office profitable and meeting collection goals.
- Accurately and efficiently calculate the patients’ copay for their treatment plans according to the office’s financial policy and their dental benefits.
- Closes and / or assists in the closing of the patients on their treatment plans and gets them started on treatment quickly.
- Follow up frequently with patients with outstanding treatment plans and get them closed or back on the schedule to see the Doctors or Hygienists.
- Inspire patients to follow through with their recommended treatment and commit to continuing care
- Accurately and efficiently record the administrative tasks of the Treatment Coordinator so the patients’ finance record can be easily seen.
- Provides clerical support when needed to assist clerical staff with assigned administrative duties such as answering phones, sorting and distributing mail, and preparing documents.
- Handling any patient’s complaints or upsets on their accounts..
- Keeping the patient’s ledger as accurate as possible and collecting any balances.
- Work with the team to get the schedule filled productively
- Gather patient testimonials and online reviews
- Promote the company’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values to patients and potential team members
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in office administration or related field preferred.3 years of Sales & Customer Service experience (Preferred)Minimum 2yrs of general dental experience, (Preferred)BENEFITS

Resides with or close to 20 miles of office location for reasonable commuteProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Salary Range
