At A Blessing of Hope Family Services, were committed to reunifying families across Nebraska and empowering parents and children to thrive. Were looking for Family Service Specialists who are positive, compassionate, and driven to help families in need. With us, youll find a company culture built on support, encouragement, and appreciation for the hard work you do!
As a Family Service Specialist, you will supervise visits in the client home, community during the evenings (2pm-8pm) and weekends. The Families we serve have had children removed from the home and placed into the child welfare system due to allegations of abuse and / or neglect.
During these supervised visits, you will provide engaging parenting skills assistant, help to strengthen a familys bond, and in the moment redirection and parent coaching in order to promote the safe and successful reunification of families.
You will be an advocate for the families, setting goals with the assistance of the caseworker and families, documenting progress, reporting any concerns of alleged abuse / neglect, testifying in court as needed, and providing transportation for the children and families we serve.

Responsibilities :
This role will be working with families to provide direction, coaching, and motivation to achieve the goals set by DHHS, and the court.

Salary : $22 / hr, $18 drive time, plus $.55 mileage reimbursement.
Schedule :
Monday through Friday, Evenings, Weekends
This position does require evenings and weekend availability.
