Sales Representative (Inside Sales)

Location : Ankeny, Iowa

We’re a growing small business in the specialized battery industry looking for a motivated Sales Hunter to join our inside sales team. In this B2B inside sales role , you’ll sell power solutions to businesses across multiple industries. Full, industry specific training on our products is offered. This is a full-time opportunity where you’ll have the chance to make a direct impact, build strong customer relationships, and grow new accounts. What You’ll Do

Proactively develop new B2B accounts while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships

Plan and organize daily outreach (calls, follow-ups, emails) to maximize opportunities

Deliver a positive customer experience while achieving and exceeding sales goals

Work closely with our small sales team to coordinate efforts and share best practices

Manage customer accounts and orders, including some supporting office administration tasks

What We’re Looking For

At least 1 year of sales experience (inside sales or B2B preferred)

A hunter mentality — persistence in finding and converting new opportunities

Strong communication skills and a professional phone manner

Self-motivated and goal-driven, with the ability to work independently in a small-team setting

Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Ability to lift 50+ pounds (for occasional product handling)

High school diploma or equivalent

What We Offer

Base salary plus uncapped commissions (paid monthly in arrears) — compensation package is open to negotiation based on experience

Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, FSA, PTO, Simple IRA, and more (some benefits begin after a probationary period)

Family-friendly schedule : Monday–Thursday 8 : 00–4 : 30, Fridays until 4 : 00.  Close on all major holidays.
