What to Expect

• Become proficient in your swim instructor role through hands-on training with a mentor trainer on proven learn-to-swim methods.
• Build trusting relationships with students through weekly lessons, celebrating their progress in the pool.
• Work a set schedule with shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Follow safety standards to keep children, families and staff well-being top of mind.
• Stand and move on deck and in the pool; lifting students and pool equipment is part of the job.
• Must be able to work at both King's Swim Academy locations in San Carlos and San Mateo.

Engaging Classes for a Variety of Ages

Starting Teaching Rate : $20-26 per hour

Full Pay Range : $20-36 per hour
