Counselor – Detox / IOP (Full Time) Briarwood Detox | Nova Recovery Center-North Austin, TX
Pay : $45,000–$80,000 / year (based on experience & credentials)
Schedule : Full-time, evenings / weekends as needed
About The Role
Nova Recovery Center is seeking passionate, licensed counselors to join our Detox and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs. You'll play a key role in guiding clients through early recovery, providing group and individual counseling, completing assessments, and collaborating with our treatment team to create effective discharge plans.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions
- Complete intakes, assessments, and treatment planning
- Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling
- Document services accurately in our electronic health record (Best Notes)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support long-term recovery
- Supervise interns (when assigned)
What We're Looking For
Licensed LCDC, Counselor Intern (completed 4,000 hours), LCSW, or other Qualified Credentialed Counselor licenseKnowledge of addiction, relapse prevention, and co-occurring disordersStrong communication, teamwork, and crisis management skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsWhy Work Here?
