Project Scheduler

Responsibilities
- Support multiple PMs as they oversee the execution of capital facilities projects
- Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Monitor progress against the schedule and adjust as necessary to accommodate changes or delays.
- Develop executive level schedule metrics, management reports and project dashboards
- Identify and analyze the critical path; advise the PM regarding alternative logic paths and other potential work-arounds.
- Perform schedule analysis of progress against the baseline plan; update the baseline schedule if necessary
- Perform "what if" scenarios within the schedules, notably for scope changes, design modifications, and unforeseen events
- Attend program / project meetings to discuss and review schedules.
- Meet regularly with the individual PMs to ensure schedule accuracy and clarify schedule issues
- Review the contractor's payment submissions against the completion of work
Qualifications
Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.Bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, or information management7-10 years of experience in Scheduling.Proficiency and expertise in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.Ability to effectively solve complex problems.Strong oral and written communication skills.A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic, fast paced environment.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the delivery of federal facility projectsDHS and / or CBP experience.Professional certification in a relevant field such as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
