• Job Overview :
• We are seeking multiple balanced, passionate and dedicated coaches to join our team in 2025-2026. We currently have openings at the Junior High level. Our open positions are JH Boys' Soccer, JH Boys' Cross Country, JH Girls' Cross Country and JH Girls' Basketball. The ideal candidates will have experience working with middle and / or high school-aged student-athletes and possess a strong background in sports coaching. These are stipend positions for the season. Fall sports run mid-August to mid-October. Winter sports run mid-October to mid-February.
• Duties :
• Develop and implement training sessions to enhance players' skills and performance
• Provide guidance and support to players during practices and games
• Teach fundamental sport techniques, strategies, and rules
• Monitor player progress, recognize strengths and growth and provide constructive feedback for improvement
• Communicate with parents regarding schedules, updates and other team information
• Skills :
• Experience in coaching sports- Proven ability to work with student-athletes of various skill levels and ages
• Knowledge of sport specific techniques, strategies, and rules
• Strong, prompt communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for mentoring and developing young student-athletes
• Expectations :
• Possess a coaching philosophy which includes balancing character development, reflective of the Mission of Fuchs Mizrachi School, and competitive excellence.
• Run high-energy, purposeful team practices
• Attend and lead team meetings
• Provide written team rules and expectations to the Athletics Director prior to the season
• Execute a thoughtful and intentional team selection process
• Must possess a valid driver's license, pass BCI FBI background check prior to working with students
• Be a positive role model for all interactions with student-athletes, parents, vendors, administrators, opponents, fans and the extended Fuchs Mizrachi School Community.
• Assist all student-athletes in developing their leadership potential
• Lead an environment which supports student-athlete well-being and growth
• Comply with all School Rules and Expectations
