Auto Technician

to join their team in Dover, DE. This is a hands-on, in-shop role with a focus on diagnostics, maintenance, and repair across all vehicle makes and models. A Day in the Life of the Auto Technician

As an Auto Technician with our client, you'll handle everything from routine maintenance to full-scale engine repairs. You'll use diagnostic tools and software to pinpoint issues, perform high-quality repairs, and help ensure every vehicle that leaves the shop meets high safety and performance standards. Your work directly supports the company's mission to provide reliable, top-tier automotive service that builds customer trust and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed inspections and diagnostics to accurately identify vehicle issues

Recommend and carry out appropriate repair solutions

Perform maintenance services such as oil changes, brake jobs, and engine work

Use diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot complex issues

Keep accurate records of services performed, parts used, and repairs made

Requirements and

10+ years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Mechanic

Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical knowledge

Valid automotive technician certification (e.g., ASE) is preferred

Proficient with diagnostic tools and software

Able to work independently and efficiently

Experience working on all makes and models
