Primary Function

Responsible for engaging with the public and representing the City of Waukesha and the Waukesha JanBoree as an event mascot.

Recreation Assistant - JanBoree Mascot, 16years+

Hourly Rate : $14

Shifts (approximately) :

  • Friday, 4 : 30 pm to 8 : 30 pm
  • Saturday, 9 : 30 am to 6 : 30 pm

Waukesha JanBoree, January 16, 17, 23, 24, 2026.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assume the persona of the mascot character and convey emotions, energy, and enthusiasm through exaggerated movements, gestures, and body language.
  • Interact with the public to entertain and engage during event.
  • Pose for photos.

    • Position Qualifications

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Must be pleasant and willing to engage with the public wearing a costume.

    • Applicants must pass Background and Drug Screen
