Clinical Manager

Under the general supervision of the Center Director the Clinical Manager is responsible for providing leadership and clinical care coordination to the center clinical teams.

Specific duties and functions include supervising and coordinating the clinical participant care and services. The Clinical Manager directly supervises center clinic staff, RN Case Managers, Community LPN's, Registered Dieticians, Social workers, Rehab team, Spiritual Care and Behavioral health social workers. They provide high quality care in accordance with federal and state regulations, lead collaborative teamwork, practice Models PACE SEMI Values and 10 principles, lead center performance outcomes, assure resolve / closure of clinical care issues, facilitate Participant-Centered Planning meetings and Care Plan Development / Enrollment meetings, assist the Medical Director in clinical and operational issues and special projects, communicate and collaborate with center and organizational leadership, facilitate administrative, quality and performance improvement requirements, participate in Quality Assurance projects, ensure adherence to departmental and external standards in the provision of quality focused care, and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines. Additionally, they handle hire, payroll, staff scheduling, and coverage. General requirements include a Bachelor's degree, registered nursing degree preferred, at least five years of clinical long-term care experience, including one year with frail elderly population, and five years of supervisory experience. The Clinical Manager must lead and direct other licensed nursing staff in the delivery of care, meet a standardized set of competencies, be medically cleared for communicable diseases, meet Registered Nurse State Licensure requirements, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
