About this Position

The Director of Applications Development and Enterprise Systems provides visionary leadership and strategic oversight for the planning, development, integration, and reliable operation of OSU / A&M enterprise applications and business systems. This position translates institutional goals into technology-enabled solutions, driving innovation, operational efficiency, and service excellence across academic and administrative functions. Reporting to the CIO, the Director manages a diverse team of IT professionals, fosters collaboration across the institution, and ensures compliance with governance, security, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

Five years of related work experience.

Skills, Proficiencies, and / or Knowledge :

Preferred Qualifications

Master's

Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Experience in personnel management in a technical operation; experience with application development and enterprise systems management.

Experience with OSU systems including Banner infrastructure, integrations, operations, and business process automation

Certifications, Registrations, and / or Licenses :

ITIL, PMP, or equivalent industry certifications

Skills, Proficiencies, and / or Knowledge :

Advanced knowledge of higher education IT practices, enterprise application architecture, and emerging technologies
