Billing Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Billing Coordinator to join our growing Palliative Care team. This in-office position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for palliative care services, supporting both our patients and care providers.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of medical billing (especially Medicare / Medicaid and private insurance), excellent communication skills, and a deep respect for the sensitive nature of palliative care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process and submit medical claims for palliative care services in a timely and accurate manner
• Review claims for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with insurance guidelines
• Resolve billing discrepancies and follow up on unpaid or denied claims
• Communicate with providers, patients, and insurance companies regarding billing issues
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
• Stay current with changes in billing regulations and coding requirements specific to palliative care
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support seamless care delivery
