Minimum Requirements & Responsibilities

As an engineering associate, you will apply civil, environmental, and water resources engineering principles to various projects, including :

• Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling evaluations
• Hydrologic analysis using GIS tools
• Stormwater calculations and analyses using software like AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM
• Design of stormwater management facilities, sediment traps, basins, erosion control devices
• Floodplain and floodway analysis, FEMA map revisions, watershed studies
• Technical report writing and documentation
• Preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
• Interaction with plan reviewers and other disciplines
• Providing guidance to junior staff

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field, with two years of relevant experience preferred. Proficiency in relevant software is a plus. Valid driver's license required.
