Henrico Doctors Hospital, the largest delivery center in Richmond, features a Level III NICU and is seeking a compassionate, Board Certified / Board Eligible Neonatologist. Join a highly collaborative and innovative team that is dedicated to excellence in neonatal care, providing continuous 24 / 7 in-house coverage in a cutting-edge single-family room NICU environment.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide exceptional neonatal intensive care in a 40-bed Level III NICU.
• Collaborate with a dedicated group of Neonatologists for continuous 24 / 7 in-house coverage.
• Utilize advanced therapies including HFOV, HFJV, inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia.
• Work alongside on-site pediatric surgery and cardiology specialists for comprehensive care.
• Coordinate with the nurse-led neonatal transport team for patient transfers and emergencies.
• Deliver care in a family-centered single-family room NICU model.
• Exclusively focus on NICU patients; no requirement to cover the newborn nursery.
• Engage in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and clinical research supported by the group.
• Contribute to a team culture valuing innovation, education, and compassionate family support.
• Not accepting Locums candidates or visa candidates.
