Job Opportunity : Neonatologist - Richmond, VA

Henrico Doctors Hospital, Richmond s largest delivery center with a Level III NICU, is seeking a compassionate, Board Certified / Board Eligible Neonatologist to join a highly collaborative, innovative team committed to excellence in neonatal care, providing 24 / 7 in-house coverage in a state-of-the-art single-family room NICU environment.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide exceptional neonatal intensive care in a 40-bed Level III NICU.
• Collaborate with a dedicated group of Neonatologists providing continuous 24 / 7 in-house coverage.
• Utilize advanced therapies such as HFOV, HFJV, inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia.
• Work alongside on-site pediatric surgery and cardiology specialists for comprehensive care.
• Coordinate with a nurse-led neonatal transport team for patient transfers and emergencies.
• Deliver care in a single-family room NICU model prioritizing family-centered care.
• No requirement to cover the newborn nursery, focusing exclusively on NICU patients.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and collaborative clinical research.
• Contribute to a team culture valuing innovation, education, and compassionate family support.
