Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a skilled educator specializing in visual impairment to support a unique early childhood learning opportunity within a close-knit school setting located approximately 85 miles south of San Antonio, TX. This contract role spans the 2025-2026 school year, offering part-time hours tailored to the needs of the student.
This position involves working with a young Kindergarten student who has a prosthetic eye and potential visual impairment needs. While the student has not yet undergone formal assessment or identification, the role will focus on providing specialized instruction and support to facilitate the child's educational growth and development.
