Position Summary
As part of Sam’s Club’s Product team, you’ll own and evolve our Media & Advertising Platform (MAP), streamlining ad operations—from billing and media planning to in‑club advertising execution. You’ll design best‑in‑class workflows that serve our internal teams and advertisers, ensuring efficient operations and shopper‑focused ad experiences.
Responsibilities
- Own the product lifecycle : Lead requirement gathering, standards, development, QA, testing, KPI monitoring, and launch strategy.
- Drive operational workflows : Shape billing processes, media planning tools, in‑club ad placements, and campaign administration features.
- Partner cross‑functionally : Collaborate with Ads Operations, Sales, Merchandising, Finance, Engineering, and Data teams to align priorities and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
- Be data‑driven : Use metrics and user feedback to refine workflows, measure impact, and iterate.
- Conduct industry and competitive reviews : Keep pace with Retail Media, MarTech / AdTech trends to inform roadmap direction.
- Engage stakeholders : Clearly communicate roadmaps and product goals to stakeholders, securing buy‑in from leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.7+ years of product management experience, preferably with 3 years in advertising or retail media (ad operations & campaign lifecycle) and 2 years in technical product management.Strong business acumen with the ability to define requirements, prioritize technical trade‑offs, and set deliverables.Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence across teams.Agile, test‑and‑learn mindset—comfortable with iterative improvements and experimentation.Passion for solving complex operational challenges in a fast‑moving retail environment.Preferred Qualifications
Previous exposure to AdTech / MarTech platforms such as DSPs, SSPs, OMS, etc.MBA or advanced degree—a plus but not required.Benefits

Annual salary range : $117,000 – $234,000. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
