If you have experience pitching stories, building reporter relationships, securing press coverage, and shaping narratives for public audiences, this is the role for you. This is not a sales, advertising, or digital marketing position. We are looking for a communications professional who thrives in the fast-moving world of newsrooms, reporters, and proactive storytelling.

The salary range for this role is $80,000-95,000 based on experience brought to the position, with room for rapid advancement. In addition to a robust benefits package, Live Wire also offers 401(k) matching and profit sharing as well as significant retention bonuses on your 3-, 5-, 7-, and 10-year anniversaries.

What you’ll do

• Serve as the primary client contact, providing strategic counsel and managing expectations.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term PR plans focused on securing earned media coverage.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and editors.
• Pitch stories that resonate and deliver measurable results for clients.
• Write and edit press materials, op-eds, and talking points.
• Identify and leverage media opportunities to enhance client visibility and thought leadership.
• Support clients with crisis communications and rapid-response strategies.
• Coordinate messaging across client stakeholders for internal and external alignment.
• Monitor and measure earned media coverage and campaign performance, providing actionable insights.
• Lead client meetings, deliver impactful presentations, and generate reporting documents.
