Responsibilities

  • Lead media and influencer relations, fostering strong relationships with business, broadcast, and influencer media
  • Manage PR programs from kickoff through goal achievement, including budget development and client training
  • Generate and edit various communication materials, including press releases and pitches
  • Maintain direct reports, assisting in their development and conducting performance reviews
  • Participate in new business processes, including networking and identifying new targets

    • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, preferably in a technology-focused PR environment
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create and edit a variety of communication materials
  • Proven track record in managing client relationships and achieving communication goals
  • In-depth knowledge of the technology industry and digital / social media platforms
  • Ability to lead teams and inspire staff in a fast-paced environment

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Established relationships with consumer tech media
  • Experience measuring the ROI of communications activities
  • Familiarity with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns
  • Previous mentoring or training experience with junior staff
  • Active participation in industry networking events
