POSITION SUMMARY :

The position’s main responsibility is to perform preventative and corrective maintenance to chassis used for national and international shipping distribution. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required. QUALIFICATIONS : Required

• Two (2) years of welding experience working on chassis / trailers.
• Must have Advanced Stick and MIG welding experience.
• Knowledge of methods, techniques, and procedures involved in the maintenance and repairs of chassis / trailers.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak basic English.
• Must be able to accurately process alpha / numeric information.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, as needed.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and strong initiative.
• Ability to think logically and make sound decisions.
• Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card within 30 days of employment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Primary

LOCATION : Miami, Florida

SALARY : $24 p / h

SCHEDULE : Monday – M-F, 6 : 00 a.m. – 6 : 00 p.m., with the flexibility to work extended hours, holidays, and weekends as needed.
