Position Summary :

The Product Development Specialist is a key functional partner who works collaboratively with design, production, and merchandising to bring the best product into our stores. This role supports and organizes the development of product from initial design inception, to final production stage while adhering / managing to the time and action calendar. The ideal candidate is a passionate and highly organized individual who is well versed in the development and sourcing process and can thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Key Accountabilities :

• Initiate and track status of all fabric / trim / garment development
• Communicate daily with factories / mills in regards to development and production issues
• Drive time & action calendar adherence
• Responsible for accurate entry of all style information into PLM system
• Manage all bulk production styles in PLM system- build tech packs and complete costing
• Partner with factory agents on weekly tech pack inquiries
• Manage approval of bulk submits including fabric and garments, against established standards
• Support production department with creation of fabric commitments in PLM system
• Administer weekly production PO updates in PLM system

Skills & Experience :

Ability to work at least 40 hours per week from the Company's New York office with flexibility based on project needs
