Position Requirements :MUST have experience with FLUXCORE & 6GR
MUST HAVE VALID LICENSE AND CLEAN MVRTechnical school education is a plus, but high school diploma or GED is required.Must be able to pass physicalMust be able to pass drug screenMust be able to pass background checkRequired Skills :Must have Flux Core welding and fabricating experience
Must be able to weld in various positionsMust be able to read and understand blueprint drawings.Excellent math skills with ability to efficiently read a tape measureExcellent problem solving skillsExcellent communication skillsDemonstrate strong work ethicDemonstrate consistency in quality of workDuties / Responsibilities : Physical Requirements :May layout and mark weld points on parts or subassemblies using ruler, square, scribe or templates
Positions pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides and steps using measuring instruments and hand toolsClamps, holds, tack-welds, grinds, and bolts components to position for welding.Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.Operates cutting equipment including torches and various power and hand toolsRemove rough spots from workpieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers.Safely operates iron worker, grinders, overhead cranes, rigging, pipe threading machine, welding machine, and various pneumatic hand toolsAssembly of components with some fabrication of equipment needed for the job with minimal supervisionMange housekeeping activities when requested.Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized.
Assist in waste disposal and recycling activitiesCleanup work area and equipment after work is completed.Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner.Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards.Practice safety procedures in accordance with training and guidelines when working.
Comply with company policies and legal guidelines, helping to maintain a safe and orderly work environmentMeet quality and performance requirements as outlined by quality assurance and production standardsReport safety hazards, quality, and production issues to management immediatelyMust be able to lift up to 50 LBSMust be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, or kneel regularly, as well as climb stairs and ladders to complete tasks.Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditionsAbility to work in varying hot and cold environments
Ability to work in an environment with exposures to dust, dirt and various other debris, metal and paint fumes, gasesWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to high, precarious places and outside weather conditionsThe employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shockDocuments Required :Driver's License / Identification Card

Weekly PayPay Schedule : Monday - SundaySchedule :Monday - Friday (Weekends as needed)
10-12 Hour Days (with weather permitting)
