Requirements :

Job Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with customers, mortgage companies, and team members to collect outstanding accounts and improve cash flow.
• Analyze files to determine appropriate collections activities, including invoicing, preparing written correspondence, securing timely mechanics liens, and communicating verbally with customers daily.
• Maintain diligent notes of communications with customers and initiate follow-up actions.
• Prepare detailed and accurate reporting of the status of accounts and provide recommendations on resolving open accounts.
• Ensure the security and privacy of customer information and files.
• Creates invoices according to company practices utilizing invoicing software.
• Assist with other projects in the accounting department as appropriate.

Job Qualifications (Required Skills) :

Two to five years of experience in a collections or accounts receivable role is required.

Construction industry experience and expertise in securing timely mechanics and liens in Texas are highly valued!

Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail!

Ability to thrive while collaborating in a team environment.

Willingness to incorporate new technology to advance processes.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Education :

A high school diploma is required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits :

Competitive base salary based on experience, plus quarterly bonus structure.

Ten (10) days of paid time off (PTO) per year.

Seven (7) paid holidays per year.
