Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Order Entry and Management
Enter all customer orders accurately and efficientlyCommunicate with customers on order clarification and confirmationCoordinate order revisions to ensure all internal parties are up-to-date on customer expectationsBuild rapport with repeat customers through positive, timely, consistent and reliable service and communication.Build up relationship with customers to assist sales with account growth.Delivery Coordination
Communicate ETAs and delivery updates to customers and internal teamsCollaborate with the shipping department to ensure timely order fulfillmentMonitor and report over / under shipmentsSend customer invoices and follow-up as neededOther Key Duties
Collaborate with production teams to reconcile finished goods inventory issuesProvide customer support via phone and email regarding order status and issues.Recommend improvements to streamline workflows and reduce errorsCreate documentation and training for order entry proceduresRequired Qualifications
Manufacturing background required – previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essentialScheduling and planning experience required – demonstrated ability to coordinate production schedules and manage workflow prioritiesERP system experience required – proficiency in working with Enterprise Resource Planning systems for order management, inventory tracking, and production coordinationStrong Attention to detailPreferred Qualifications
