What You'll Do
The Manager of Enterprise Solutions will lead the design, development, and implementation of customized logistics and transportation solutions for enterprise customers across Mexico and Latin America. This role is pivotal in supporting the company's growth in time-critical and high-value logistics sectors, ensuring alignment between commercial strategy, operational capability, and customer requirements. He directly reports into the Vice President of Enterprise Solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical logistics expertise with commercial acumen and cross-functional leadership to deliver best-in-class, customer-specific supply chain solutions.
Solution Design & Development
- Lead the design and optimization of transportation, airfreight, and supply chain solutions for key enterprise and time-critical customers.
- Translate customer requirements into operationally feasible, cost-effective solutions that align with company capabilities.
- Develop proposals, cost models, and implementation plans in collaboration with sales, pricing, and operations teams.
- Support the continuous improvement of solution templates and modeling tools.
Customer Engagement & Pre-Sales Support
Partner with Commercial and Key Account teams to understand client needs, participate in discovery sessions, and co-create strategic solutions.Present technical and operational solution designs to customers and internal stakeholders.Support business development and bid management processes for RFQs / RFPs across Mexico and Latin America.Implementation & Governance
Oversee implementation of new customer programs, ensuring successful handoff from design to operations.Support the creation and governance of Customer SOPs and operational playbooks for key accounts.Monitor post-implementation performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Leadership & Collaboration
Lead a small team or project group of solution engineers and analysts as business grows.Collaborate closely with operations, IT, pricing, procurement, and finance teams to ensure feasibility and profitability of proposed solutions.Act as a regional subject matter expert for time-critical and international forwarding solutions.What You'll Bring
Education : Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or Business Administration (Master's preferred).Experience : 7+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain design ideally with focus on time-critical or expedited solutions.Strong background in solution engineering, process design, or project implementation within global freight forwarding or 3PL environments.Proven experience in cost modeling, RFQ / RFP response, and solution presentation to enterprise customers.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (English & Spanish fluency required).Strong understanding of airfreight, road transport, and multimodal logistics across Mexico, NAFTA / USMCA region, and global trade lanes.Strategic thinking with operational pragmatism.Strong project management and cross-functional leadership.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Customer-centric mindset with a focus on quality and speed.Advanced Excel, Power BI, and logistics modeling tools proficiency.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and time-sensitive environment.Ascent's Competitive Benefits
