Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital

Day shifts of 12 hours are required

13-week assignment length

Travelers must follow strict RTO guidelines : a maximum of 5 days off if not near a holiday, and 3 days if around a holiday

Only one holiday request for time off is allowed

Multiple days of RTO during holiday periods will not be approved and must be spread out

Assignment does not require on-call coverage

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license in hand

Minimum of 18 months ICU experience required

Former permanent staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, and 18 months before returning to the same facility

Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local applicants are not eligible
