Oversee and manage regulatory compliance programs including PSM and LOTO. Manage and facilitate process hazard analysis. Complete risk assessments / audits of current job practices to eliminate hazards on site. Conduct safe behavior observations. Deliver safety updates and communications through multiple avenues including, updates to facility message boards, shift turnover, production and staff meetings. Manage Incident Investigations relating to safety and regulatory compliance, identifying root causes and immediate corrective actions. Work to address and correct near miss conditions to help improve the overall safety of Support employee powered safety committee. Walk the floor and talk with operations to address safety concerns, and follow up to Validate the training of employees on equipment & process-specific training elements Conduct training for new and existing operators, as needed, to support operations. Interact and assist corporate SQRA with safety and regulatory compliance programs, Assist CG Safety Manager with maintaining an effective 24 hour / 7day ‘emergency Bachelor’s degree preferred. Preferably in Engineering or Safety. 5 years of experience in manufacturing and safety Must have skills adequate to facilitate employee and manager group meetings, Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English. Strong computer skills and knowledge of Power Point, Word, and Excel required. Uphold Company's Standard of Excellence through a continuous commitment to maintain quality facilities and provide quality products and services to internal and external customers. Participate in RCRA, regulatory, health & safety and process training activities as Regular attendance is essential. Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned. Work with other staff members to maintain workload balances. Provide back-up support Support effective communication with all company departments where responsibilities Must be capable of sitting and standing for up to one hour at a time. Must be capable of climbing ladders up to 50 feet on occasion. Due to safety concerns, the wearing of contact lenses is prohibited. Ability to wear a respirator for up to 4 hours a day. Follow SOP for facial hair guidelines.
