We are currently searching for an experienced Office Lead to support our Southeast Region located in Atlanta, GA .
To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, a B.S. or M.S. in Civil engineering from ABET accredited engineering program.
What you’ll be doing :
- Office Manager for all aspects of our Georgia area clients
- Be a practice builder – growing services, clients, and geography
- Serve as the lead with key client and contract management
- Develop annual and quarterly budgets for both marketing and operations
- Recruit, develop, and retain staff
- Manage diverse civil projects to meet financial and technical requirements
- Coordinate with other Volkert Office Managers in the state and the region to work share
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations
- Participate in marketing and business development
What you need to have :
B.S. or M.S. in Civil engineering from ABET accredited engineering programLicensed P.E.Possess a strong understanding in developing all project management controls including budgeting, scheduling, and staff managementThe ability to manage AND assist in the production of design deliverables15+ years of experience in roadway project management10+ years' work experience in the following :MarketingProject ManagementPersonnel ManagementEngineering DesignMust have an entrepreneurial spirit looking to add to continual growth in the areaAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana.
