Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Police Officer located in Fort Mill, SC. As a Police Officer with FMPD, you will be entrusted with the protection of life and property, and the enforcement of federal, state, and local laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol Fort Mill to detect, deter, and respond to crime and traffic violations.
• Answer calls for service, including but not limited to : domestic disputes, assaults, burglaries, lost or missing persons, traffic collisions, motorist assists.
• Conduct preliminary investigations : interviewing witnesses, victims, suspects; collecting information and evidence; securing scenes.
• Apprehend, arrest, and process offenders; execute warrants and subpoenas.
• Support fellow officers and emergency response personnel as needed.
• Provide traffic control and direction; assist motorists.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports : incident, accident, arrest, etc.
• Maintain patrol vehicle, uniform, and equipment to department standards.
• Testify in court when required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned in support of FMPD's mission.

The base pay range for this position is $54,711.00 / yr - $80,048.00 / yr.
