job_description.job_card.job_descriptionSupport design department in delivering 3D fabrication-ready part files to in-house manufacturing using Autodesk Inventor. Manage a library of parametric parts in Autodesk Vault. Lead development of Inventor & Vault processes with automation tools (iLogic, PowerShell, CoolOrange, etc.). Build and maintain parametric parts and assemblies for efficiency and accuracy. Establish and manage standard processes for Inventor & Vault across internal and external design partners. Integrate Inventor & Vault into design and manufacturing workflows to streamline information transfer. Integrate design data into ERP (INFOR CloudSuite SiteLine) for reporting. Participate in cross-functional meetings to improve design processes and automation strategies. Develop knowledge of company products to identify opportunities for value engineering and process improvement. Communicate automation processes and logic to downstream designers. Support initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and innovation in design-to-manufacturing workflows. Associate's degree or higher in manufacturing, construction, architecture, or engineering. Certificate in CAD preferred; equivalent experience considered. Proven experience in design automation for manufacturing parametric assemblies and parts. General understanding of manufacturing / design practices and structural framing requirements. Demonstrated ability to lead or coordinate software implementation (Inventor or similar). Self-starter with strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; effective in a team environment. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with urgency. Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and CAD; familiarity with other 3D software, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office preferred.
