Description : SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
Assist all departments with administrative duties as explained below.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Types all correspondence, reports, letters and memos as directed.
- Maintains and organizes files, work areas, and office equipment.
- Directs the flow of information and traffic in the office including phone calls, appointments, inquiries, and complaints.
- Utilizes standard telephone equipment for handling incoming and outgoing telephonic communications into / out of the corporate office.
- Provides any and all assistance necessary in accommodating staff according to their needs.
- Files and organizes information including but not limited to letters, memos, phone messages, and documents as necessary to maintain an orderly flow of information and organized retention process.
- Orders all supplies to maintain office efficiency.
- Keeps minutes for the predetermined meetings and distributes them to the proper areas, as assigned.
- Preparation of various reports (marketing, operations, labor management, etc.) by utilizing data mining tool and techniques.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and handle projects simultaneously.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIORNMENT
This role will operate in a combination of environments including retail convenience stores, distribution center, industrial bakery, and professional office setting. Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures for minimum of 30-minute intervals. Exposure to cleaning solvents.
TRAVEL
No travel outside of daily travel to Family Express locations is expected for this position.

2 years in an administrative role
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma, GED, or the equivalent

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for prolonged periods; work longer than eight (8) hour shifts, reach, climb, balance, stoop, mop, sweep, change garbage, kneel, crouch; talk and hear; taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
