We are looking for a dedicated Client Services Specialist to join our team in Santa Barbara, California. This contract position involves supporting property management operations by ensuring excellent communication with tenants, residents, and property owners, as well as maintaining high standards of property care and safety. Responsibilities :
- Communicate effectively with tenants and residents, addressing concerns and issuing notices as needed.
- Conduct property inspections, including exterior reviews, semi-annual interior checks, and move-out assessments.
- Create and manage work orders to ensure timely and efficient property maintenance.
- Handle security deposit reconciliations accurately and in compliance with regulations.
- Develop project scopes, solicit bids, and coordinate project completion with vendors and maintenance teams.
- Support leasing activities such as marketing properties, drafting leases, and processing applications.
- Collaborate with vendors, in-house maintenance technicians, and onsite property managers to address operational needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth property management operations.
- Prior experience in property management is preferred but not required.
- Availability to work on a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime, particularly during peak periods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ability to handle inbound and outbound customer service calls effectively.
- Experience with order entry and managing customer service inquiries in a call center environment is a plus.
