Aircraft Structures Mechanic

The Aircraft Structures Mechanic is responsible for performing regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections on aircraft structural components. This includes identifying defects such as cracks or corrosion, consulting maintenance manuals to guide repairs, and installing new parts to improve performance. The mechanic also handles sheet metal repairs, resolves mechanical issues based on visual inspections or reports, and maintains detailed records of all maintenance activities. All tasks are carried out in compliance with Airside MRO, federal, and OSHA regulations to ensure safety and quality. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support overall maintenance operations.

Your role will take you to new heights, as you will be tasked with these essential job responsibilities :

• Performs regular maintenance on Structures components
• Develops and maintains records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and any reports related to parts or services
• Inspects and examines many types of Structures components to identify cracks, corrosion, or other defects
• Consults maintenance manuals and specifications to identify correct operations and specifications for replacements or repairs
• Installs new parts to replace or repair defective or recalled parts or to enhance the performance of the Structures components; performs these tasks efficiently and to specifications
• Repairs sheet metal as needed
• Identifies and resolves mechanical problems based on visual inspections or reports from Airside MRO customers.
• Documents and maintains all documentation related to inspections, repairs, and reassembly of Structures components
• Follow all Federal, Airside MRO, and OSHA regulations while performing maintenance
• Performs other related duties as assigned

FAA / DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
