- Education : Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current BCLS certification required within one month of hire.\n
- Experience : Registered Nurse foundational responsibilities apply; all RNs are encouraged to advance through the SPIRE clinical advancement program.\n
- Licensure : Must be a currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut. Clinical specialty certification is highly encouraged.\n
- Special Skills : Encouragement to participate in the SPIRE clinical advancement program.\n\nPhysical Demands : \nThis position requires prolonged standing and walking, use of sight, hearing, and touch. Potential exposure to infectious diseases, as well as physical, mental, and emotional challenges associated with patient care. You will need to stand and walk for most of the day while frequently bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, and lifting. Ability to assist in moving patients weighing from five (5) to three hundred (300) pounds is necessary.\n\nAdditional Information : \nThis position is covered by the Connecticut Healthcare Associates Collective Bargaining Agreement.
